Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Claire and Derrick’s enchanting wedding at Normanton Church in Rutland, on a rainy and overcast day. Despite the weather, the love between these two was shining brightly, and it was an honor to capture their special day.
The ceremony took place at Normanton Church, a sunken church situated in the heart of Rutland. The picturesque church provided a stunning backdrop for the ceremony, surrounded by the serene water of the lake. As the raindrops fell gently on the roof of the church, Claire and Derrick exchanged their vows, surrounded by their loved ones.
As the ceremony ended, we took the opportunity to capture some unforgettable shots amidst the rain. The bride’s elegant dress, with its intricate lace detailing and flowing skirt, and the groom’s smart navy blue suit looked stunning against the backdrop of the Normanton Church. The bridesmaids in their baby blue and pink gowns added to the charm of the day, and the groomsmen looked dapper in their matching suits.
The reception was held at the picturesque Rutland Water Golf Course, which was transformed into a magical setting. The guests were treated to a delicious meal, surrounded by elegant floral arrangements and twinkling fairy lights. Despite the weather, the spirits were high, and the guests had a wonderful time celebrating with the newlyweds.
As the night progressed, the dance floor was filled with guests, and the newlyweds were right there in the centre of it. It was a perfect end to a magical day, filled with love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
