Today I photographed the wedding of Joanne and Tim at the beautiful Oakham Castle right here in Rutland.
Jo and Tim’s love story began on a deserted beach in the Maldives, where Tim got down on one knee and asked Jo to spend the rest of her life with him. And today, in the stunning Oakham Castle, they celebrated their love with an intimate and elegant wedding ceremony.
The weather may have been chilly, but the clear skies provided a beautiful backdrop for the happy couple. Jo looked breathtaking in her stunning white gown, complemented perfectly by her beautiful bouquet of white flowers lovingly crafted by Isobel from Pickleberry flowers.
The bridesmaids looked equally stunning in their emerald green dresses. The love and warmth emanating from the families present were truly heartwarming and added to the magic of the day.
After the ceremony, Jo and Tim headed over to The Barnsdale, a beautiful and recently renovated reception venue where they continued to celebrate their love with their family and friends. It has been a while since they have had all of their family together so capturing the little moments between each of them was high on their list of photo requests.
Thank you, Jo and Tim, for allowing me to be a part of your special day! It was truly an honor and a privilege. I hope you enjoy your previews and I cannot wait to share your full gallery with you.
